Argao is a serene and beautiful town located about 65 kilometers south of Cebu City. You can enjoy swimming in the crystal clear water of Mahayahay Beach Park, take a trail at the Balay sa Agta in Mount Lantoy, and enjoy the view of Riverstone Castle located at Jumgao, Argao, the only stone castle in Cebu Province. Another site is the Bugasok Falls in the mountains of Argao.

The Argao church, an old baroque-rococo church had its construction started in 1734 and completed in 1788. The Argao church, which also has a pipe organ, is one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in the Philippines.
